Solent Stevedores has renewed its agreement with Fred Olsen Cruise Lines to provide cruise stevedoring services in the Port of Southampton.

The new 3 year deal will see Solent Stevedores provide specialist turnaround services to all Fred Olsen vessel calls to Southampton until 2020. The contract underlines Solent Stevedores' position as a market leader in the cruise stevedoring industry, handling over 70% of all cruise calls to Southampton in 2016.

A record year for Southampton Cruise Trade

Solent Stevedores is looking forward to a record year in 2013 as the company's successful involvement in the growing Southampton cruise trade continues apace.
During 2013 Solent Stevedores' dedicated cruise staff, operating out of ABP Port of Southampton's four cruise terminals, are scheduled to handle a total of just under 300 separate vessel calls. Of these, 286 calls will be Carnival Group vessels comprising 171 P & O ships, 59 Cunard Line, 34 Princess Cruises, 18 Aida Cruises and 4 Holland America Line.
