Background:

You will be working with the team at Solent Stevedores in the Accounts department based in Dursley, Gloucestershire  

There is one full time role available.  This role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.

You will need to be a self-motivated individual who is able to deliver to a high standard. If you are dedicated to delivering great service and want to join a growing family run business that looks after its people, then this role could be for you.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated, flexible approach to work; disciplined, organised, and have a can-do attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • The ability to use initiative and meet deadlines.
  • Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams (desirable)

Main Duties:

  • Provide support to the Sales ledger, invoice creation and processing 
  • Supporting credit control and liaising with customer accounts departments
  • General office administration 
  • Liaising with the wider Operations Management team (UK, Jersey & France)
  • Assist in the development of the financial reporting and systems in an actively growing company, with a centralised administration function for global operations.
