Frankie Bradfield is an Accounts Officer with Solent Stevedores based in Head Office in Dursley.
Frankie has been with Team Solent for over a year and joined straight from Sixth Form where Maths and Economics was her main passion. Day to day, she supports the Head Office team with invoicing and sales reporting for management. She gets involved with all financial aspects of the business broadening her skills and deepening her knowledge across the board.
Solent Stevedores is supporting Frankie in the early stages of her career as she embarks on her AAT course (Association of Accounting Technicians) – a professional accountancy qualification teaching practical accounting skills. The AAT course will provide Frankie with skills and knowledge to further her career.
Frankie says: “I’m finding the maritime industry really interesting. It’s been a learning curve getting my head around it all but I’m enjoying it.”
Part of the course involves days at college to get further support and deeper access to learning further strengthening her knowledge.
“The team has been really supportive and helped to me see what my career could look like in 10 years time. Everything I’m learning now gives me a really good foundation support a strong future in the industry.”
