"Please pass on my sincere thanks to the entire team that supported the Arcadia Refit team and pre refit preparations at the Mayflower Terminal on Tuesday morning.
There was some very impressive fork-lift control and a really professional and enthusiastic workforce that gave us great support and ensured the ship left on time after a complex loading and embarkation plan."
Senior Projects Superintendent - Carnival UK
"With the departure of Bellissima tonight, I would like to extend my thanks to every single one of you in all operational teams involved not only in the past 4 days, but the previous years in the build up to the event.
All teams reacted fantastically to quickly changing situations over the four days and got the vessel away on time and safely for her first cruise, which many of us thought wouldn’t be possible earlier today.
Your team had to deal with crew members and MSC Senior Management onboard during difficult situations across the 4 days and you did the best you could to help MSC."
Port Operations Assistant- MSC Cruises
"Having now had some sleep I thought it was time to say a HUGE thank you to everybody who made it work Thursday and Friday.
Everybody did an amazing job. Please can you pass on my grateful thanks to all involved it means a lot to know we had (have) your support when the chips are down. So THANK YOU!!!
You should be very proud of your team, they are a credit to the company."
Port Operations Manager - Fred Olsen Cruise Lines
"I just wanted to drop you a line reference the above call. The performance of your team, led by Paul was outstanding. Cages were organised and sorted quayside, loaded as requested and up to the decks quickly. As you know, we frequently have passports packed in bags which can take 90mins - 2 hours to find, last Friday, 20 mins max due to the organisation quayside. We didn't achieve the early sailing (departed 1610) but this was due to the passenger communication and all in all, it was a pretty successful day.
Please pass on my congratulations and thanks to Paul and all the team. Top job!"
