Range of mobile plant and equipment up to 42 tonnes

Numerous harbour mobile cranes with Tandem lift capability

Lifting frames, beams and pallet frames suiable for a wide range of cargo operations

Using High Capacity Mobile Port Cranes, Solent Stevedores regularly transfer yachts and other craft from vessel deck to quay/water or vice-versa, and provides heavy lifts for large pieces of machinery and plant for international shipping.

Our modular spreader lifting frame has a capacity of 100 Tonnes at lengths of up to 11m – ideal for heavy lifts.

Solent Stevedores is an ITSSAR accredited training provider with four instructors delivering training on all plant and machinery for its employees, with two training managers specifically responsible for cranes and heavy lifts.

When heavy lifts take place, all employees are trained for Slinger/Banksman roles and Supervisors are Appointed Persons who can prepare the lift plans needed before starting.
