In June we welcomed a visit from the Labour party leader Sir Keir Starmer and Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves to our rail and container operations at the Port of Southampton.
Sir Keir and Rachel were in Europe’s leading cruise turnaround port hosed by Associated British Ports for an opportunity to meet with port workers and hold a Q&A session.
While they were on site at our newly updated 18-acre multimodal transport facility, they had a chance to meet with some of our team and chat about how the Solent Rail Terminal will play a key role in encouraging the movement of goods from road to rail.
